Self-Faith

This is another older poem from late 2009 I think. My Freshman year in College.

A Hero will not save you

And all things fade

Those souls who are gong

Are gone

We create legends in our minds

One can never be a legend

The legend is what undoes us

Man, or Woman

We have given our faith to much

In people, worthy and unworthy

In them we create our myths

In that they will always fail

When they fail

Despair

For faith in one’s self,

Is lost

None else shall rise
